Before becoming Chief Catalyst for TADS, Reynolds-Anthony Harris pursued a highly successful executive career with Digital Equipment, Pillsbury, Wilson Learning and Progressive Insurance. He developed wide-ranging expertise in global customer service systems, mergers and acquisitions, organizational learning, leadership development, finance and above all marketing.
Carolyn is an independent school loyalist, boarding school mom (of a Madeira girl, class of 2010), and director of advancement & communications at Aspen Country Day (a PreK-Eighth Grade school in Colorado where she previously worked in admissions and boarding school placement). Her first career was in writing and editing at USA Today, the Rocky Mountain News, and Aspen Magazine.
Liza is founder of Turnaround Marketing Communications, an award-winning, results-driven communications and branding firm for independent schools. Liza dedicates herself to raising her clients’ marketing bar, advising them with forward-thinking, creative, right-fit solutions, and garnering results. Liza has presented on academic marketing at The Association of Boarding Schools (TABS) and CASE/NAIS where she was named a “Stellar Speaker” and CASE “Faculty Star” after presenting on mission-based campaign marketing. Liza graduated from Emma Willard School and Franklin & Marshall College. Her two grown children are graduates of independent schools. She lives in New Hope, PA with her husband and business partner, Rob Norman, and two goofy dogs.
Brian is a recent graduate of Worcester Academy in Worcester, MA. He has always been interested in social media, but over the past year he has developed a whole new appreciation for its uses in education. This fall, he was one of eighteen students to pioneer an online magazine/blog called wamash.com as part of his Creative Writing class. Following that, he applied for the opportunity to travel to Washington D.C. to cover the historic inauguration of President Barack Obama using a variety of social media tools, and was one of eleven students selected for the project. He continues to develop his interest in social media by serving as an intern for edsocialmedia.com. This fall he will be attending Northeastern University to study engineering, and will undoubtedly continue to be an active member of the online community.
Travis Warren is the president and founder of WhippleHill in Bedford, NH. Growing up, computers were the family business. From teletypes to Ataris and Apples, to Windows and the Internet, Travis had a front-row seat to the evolution of computing as we know it. Travis is a graduate of Proctor Academy and attended Carnegie-Mellon in Pittsburgh. After college, he spent five years working for his father's software company before leaving to start WhippleHill. His ability to apply technology to communication has helped WhippleHill evolve from a home-page company to a Web platform that drives communication for more than 300 private K-12 schools worldwide. He frequently speaks about technology and the Internet to school boards and member organizations, such as NAIS, CASE and TABS. He lives in Amherst, NH, with his wife and four children, as well as their Scottish terrier, Sophie. Away from work, he enjoys coaching football, digital photography and serving as a trustee for his alma mater, Proctor Academy.
